Accessibility Statement
Effective date: September 5, 2026
Kaufman & Company is committed to making thekaufmanco.com (the “Site”) accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access information about our companies, our work, and our team, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.
Conformance Standard
We have worked to design and build the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used to evaluate the accessibility of websites.
Measures We Have Taken
Steps we have taken to support accessibility on the Site include:
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
- A logical heading structure and consistent page landmarks (such as a defined main content area).
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
- Form fields and interactive controls with associated, programmatically readable labels.
- Text and background color combinations checked against WCAG contrast requirements.
- Decorative icons hidden from assistive technology so they do not create noise for screen reader users.
Ongoing Efforts
Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We periodically review the Site and work to address issues as they are identified. Some third-party content or embedded tools on the Site may not be fully within our control, and we cannot guarantee that every page or feature meets every success criterion at all times.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site, or if you need information in an alternative format, please contact us at admin@kaufmanfamilyoffice.com. Please describe the issue and the page where you encountered it, and we will make reasonable efforts to address it promptly.
